The Automotive Brand Contest is the only neutral, international design competition for automobile marques and in just a short period of time, has emerged as an worldwide important event in the sector. With the competition, the German Design Council honours outstanding product and communication design and draws attention to the fundamental importance of brand and brand design in the automotive industry. In this context, the focus is on the integral and consistent use of the brand across all media and products.

In 2018, the winners will be presented with their awards on the occasion of the Paris Motor Show. Accompanied by a wide-ranging PR and communication campaign, the unrestricted use of the winner labels, as well as bespoke media concepts created for the winners, the Automotive Brand Contest 2018 has enable international media presence that is highly effective in terms of marketing.

The jury session took place in Frankfurt am Main on 25 April 2017.
